NMN vs NR: which NAD+ booster has better evidence?

This is the most-asked head-to-head in the supplement aisle, and the honest answer disappoints both camps: the two NAD+ precursors are more alike in their evidence than their marketing suggests. Both reliably raise blood NAD+. Neither has shown that raising it does anything you would notice — and neither has any lifespan evidence at all.
Nicotinamide mononucleotide (NMN)

Nicotinamide riboside (NR)

The honest verdict
If the question is 'which one raises NAD+', both do, and choosing between them on that basis is choosing between two receipts for the same purchase. If the question is 'which one has shown a health benefit in people', neither has cleared that bar in replicated trials.
